About Solving JFK

Solving JFK examines each issue in the JFK Assassination by looking at the arguments from both those who believe Oswald acted alone and those who believe there was a conspiracy to kill President Kennedy. Host Matt Crumpton analyzes each tree in the forest and then zooms out to look at the big picture. Objective truth is the paramount goal of the podcast, with every factual proposition cited.

The host, Matt Crumpton, is an attorney. He is a co-author of The JFK Assassination Chokeholds with James DiEugenio, Paul Bleau, Andrew Iler, and Mark Adamczyk, and appears in the Paramount+ documentary JFK: What the Doctors Saw.

How the show cites its sources

The JFK assassination is a hotly disputed topic. Accordingly, each factual proposition from the podcast will be documented here for each episode. Where hyperlinks are practical, they will be included. Otherwise, the source information will be listed in parentheses.

Each numbered episode is read from a written script, and that script is published here in full with its footnotes. Where a document is online — at the National Archives, the Mary Ferrell Foundation, History Matters, or the AARC — the footnote links to it. Where the source is a book or a printed volume, the footnote gives the page. The sources library collects every linked document across all episodes.
